Today's Harvest

Clockwise from bottom left: two varieties of grape tomatoes, baby carrots, oregano, thyme, onion (red and yellow), potatoes

All about to go in pot of stew along with grassfed beef and homemade stock!

Wow, it seems so early. Must be the Georgia growing season. Nice.

Here in CO, last week I overheard one of the farmer's market veggie vendors saying they were just about to put things in the ground. I imagine they meant sprouted plants, but still.

Hopefully someday soon I can have a yard and a garden, after years of moving and apt. living.

Oh yeah. We are deep in summer here. Tomatoes and peppers and beans are looking good. All my spring veggies, lettuces, carrots, etc are pretty much done. :) But I can have another go round with those things in the fall and most will over winter here.
