Blogging Again, Like a Time Machine to When Blogging Was a Thing

I have no freaking idea why I want to reopen this blog and even make new posts. I don't really think people are reading blogs anymore, at least not my people. But somehow, I find myself writing again.

I'm posting poems and stories about my life and longish essay style ideas about feminism. And facebook just doesn't really cut it for that kind of thing.

I spent this whole morning reading old blog posts of mine and thinking about my old travel experiences and enjoying things I had forgotten and journal-style reminders of my life.

So here we go again! I'm going to figure out a way to do some privacy kinds of settings to make me feel more comfy about academia and about discussing things I am thinking through that might not be wildly public kinds of topics. But for now, I will open this blog to all and sundry and see what I figure out in the next day or two.
